Job Purpose
1. Be responsible for recruitment, hiring, termination, internal transfer and exit process for all functions in Greater China & North Asia;
2. Develop and implement HR practices and policy for Haworth members in Greater China & North Asia;
3. Develop member communications initiatives in Greater China & North Asia;
4. Identify, select and manage external trainers and develop and review training programs in support of Haworth’s people development goals.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
1. Establish and implement standard employment, termination, internal transfer, exit interview process and procedures;
2. Ensure the proper recruitment and hiring for all functions in Greater China & North Asia;
3. Professional knowledge on job evaluations system, creating job profile based on business needs and basic understanding of overall business;
4. Establish, update and implement HR policies and procedures including, but not limited to member communications;
5. Responsible for developing staffing plans in conjunction with business leaders and line managers for existing and future manufacturing operations;
6. Develop the skills matrix of hourly member with production managers and supervisors to ensure the necessary skills and abilities to advance within the company;
7. Counsel supervisors and managers on member relations’ issues and company policies and procedures;
8. Formulate and maintain member’s job descriptions;
9. Assist HR Manager to establish, update HR policies and track members implementation;
10. Manage member reward and recognition programs (i.e. Chinese New Year gift, annual member banquet, birthday and Haworth anniversary recognition etc.);
11. Recommend solutions for performance issues and potential areas for training;
12. Review and implement corporate training programs;
13. Identify outside training vendors and evaluate and select vendors based on training needs, keeping within budgets as assessing the return on investment of any training programs;
14. Partner outside vendors and department heads to select and develop training methods, such as individual coaching, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings and workshops, and to develop teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, and visual aids;
15. Ensure that statutory training requirements are met;
16. Supervise and develop HR professionals and manage their performance;
17. Lead HR projects assigned by the HR Manager. Contribute innovative idea to make continuous innovative idea to make continuous improvement.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
? Bachelor degree;
? Minimum 6 years related experience with international companies in Staffing function;
? Understanding and experience in the sales and manufacturing field;
? Good communication, interpersonal skills and be able to act as a bridge between labor members & management;
? Oral and written fluency in English and Mandarin.
